Ronda Rousey has signed a full-time deal with WWE.
The former UFC Women’s Bantamweight has long been rumoured to be making the switch to pro wrestling, and made an unannounced appearance at the end of last night’s Royal Rumble. ESPN then broke the news that Rousey has signed a deal to work full-time with the company.
Rousey is quoted in the article;
“This is my life now. First priority on my timeline for the next several years. This is not a smash-and-grab; this is not a publicity stunt. When I first met with Triple H, I told him, ‘There are other things I can do with my time that’ll make way more money, but I won’t enjoy nearly as much.'”
Rousey will compete at WrestleMania 34 in April, with the current speculation being that she will either face Charlotte or Stephanie McMahon.
