ABC have denied that a revival for Lost is in the pipeline…though it is wanted.
Speculation that the network are looking at bringing back the classic island drama has ramped up over the last year, following executive producer Carlton Cuse’s new deal with ABC, while co-creator Damon Lindelof also gave his blessing to a new version of the show.
Speaking at a TCA press tour this week, ABC president Channing Dungey denied plans were underway for a revival, though admitted that is a conversation she wanted to have at some point with Cuse at some point.
“We have not had any official discussions about that. It’s something that’s on a list of, ‘Wouldn’t that be great if…’ but at this point it’s only at that place.”
Lost originally aired from 2004 to 2010, with its finale becoming one of the most divisive in TV history.
