WWE and Facebook have announced a new in-ring series called Mixed Match Challenge, which will air exclusively on Facebook Watch.
The series will stream in the US, beginning January 16 and run for 12 20-minute episodes, and will see superstars from Raw and Smackdown Live competing in a single-elimination mixed tag-team competition.
The winners will receive $100,000 to go towards the charity of their choosing.
WWE’s Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer, Michelle Wilson, said; “As we continue to expand our strategic partnership with Facebook, this new series, Mixed Match Challenge, jointly reflects our innovative approach to content distribution and fan engagement. This show will deliver the action and excitement our passionate fan base is accustomed to while offering new production elements and social experiences that only Facebook can provide.”
