First Look at Thanos in Infinity War

Fresh off giving us our first look at Wasp from the Ant-Man sequel, Disney’s D23 Expo has now also shown off how Thanos will look in next year’s Avengers: Infinity War.

Thanks to an imposing statue on display at the show, we now know that the Marvel villain will ditch the traditional pointy armour seen previously in favour of a more practical ensemble of trousers, boots and sleeveless shirt. Oh, and some MASSIVE arms.

As well as the Mad Titan statue, there are also several other figures currently hiding undercover, with speculation that they are Thanos’ Black Order; Proxima Midnight, Black Dwarf, Ebony Maw and Supergiant. On-set photos from Infinity War have appeared to show actors in mo-cap suits that are believed to be these characters.

The mystery statues have signs stating that all will be revealed later today, and odds are increasing that D23 will also play host to a first Infinity War teaser as well.

Josh Brolin will play Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, which will be released on 27 April 28 in the UK, and 4 May in the US.
