Jon Jones Calls out Lesnar; Brock Responds

Fresh off his Light Heavyweight championship victory at UFC 214, Jon Jones has once again issued a challenge to Brock Lesnar.

While still inside the Octagon moments after his title victory, Jones laid out the challenge;

“Brock Lesnar, you want to know what it feels like to get your ass kicked by someone 40 pounds lighter? Meet me in the Octagon.”

This isn’t the first time Jones has name-dropped Lesnar, as he mentioned him during a Facebook Live chat last Wednesday, saying he would “deal with Daniel [Cormier] and then deal with Brock Lesnar.”

Not surprisingly, the current WWE Universal champion responded, telling the Associated Press;

“Be careful what you wish for, young man.”

While the fighting talk has got plenty of fight fans excited, the reality is that any bout between the two would be at least six months away. Lesnar would need to rejoin the USADA drug testing pool first and then sit out the remaining six months of his suspension for failing a drug test.
