Speculation has started that Darth Vader may make an appearance in the untitled Han Solo movie.
Spender Wilding, who played the physical part of the Dark Lord in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, recently had to cancel a planned appearance at a fan convention and the organisers’ announcement for his cancellation raised eyebrows;
Spencer Wilding will be unable to attend as he will be filming the newest film in the Star Wars Universe. Spencer will be coming back next year.
As it stands, the Han Solo movie is the only Star Wars movie currently filming, leading many people to believe that Wilding is required to don the famous black Vader outfit more. However, StarWarsNewsNet.com have moved to quash rumours that Vader would return. They say that Wilding has more than likely been hired for another part, or to go under make-up as a creature. They make a point of mentioning that Wilder has had several parts in Disney films in the past, most notably the guard in Guardians of the Galaxy who stole Star Lord’s Walkman aboard the Kiln.
Also, Wilding technically was not the only actor to play Vader in Rogue One, with Daniel Naprous stepping in for the final, now-iconic, scene at the end of the movie.
As of now, there is no word on whether Vader will show up in the movie, nor if there is any reason for him to. All will be revealed when the untitled Han Solo movie is released on May 25 next year.
