Mauro Ranallo will not be returning to WWE, according to a report.
CBS Sports’ Brian Campbell is reporting that Smackdown Live lead announcer Ranallo – who has missed the last few weeks of TV, including WrestleMania 33, with issues relating to depression – will not be coming back. It has be claimed that Ranallo’s broadcast partner John Bradshaw Layfield was the cause of the depression issues, though Layfield has publicly wished Ranallo well, also claiming that he “plays a heel”, seemingly in response to the speculation about his part in Ranallo’s absence.
@JoeCroninJCS No Joe, and I won't-I shouldn't commenting on Internet stuff. I play a heel. I sincerely wish Mauro nothing but the absolute best.

WWE have commented on Ranallo’s absence from TV, only stating that his contract runs until August 12 of this year.
Earlier this week, Ranallo removed all references to WWE from his social media biographies, sparking rumours about his future with the company.
