Carrie Fisher Passes Away

Carrie Fisher has died, age 60.

The legendary Star Wars actress has passed away following a heart attack she suffered last week.

A statement released by family spokesperson Simon Halls reads;

“It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning. She was loved by the world and she will be missed profoundly. Our entire family thanks you for your thoughts and prayers.”

Fisher found stardom in 1977’s Star Wars as the iconic Princess Leia, before reprising the role in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. She returned as Leia in last year’s The Force Awakens.

All of us at The Palace of Wisdom offer our deepest condolences to Fisher’s family and friends.
