“You’re The New Pathfinder”: New Mass Effect: Andromeda Trailer Released For #N7Day

“Our dreams of peace were shattered”

Last night Bioware took to social media to reveal that a new trailer for the highly anticipated Mass Effect: Andromeda was coming. Now, just 24 hours later, and on N7 Day, the trailer is here for all to admire.

For those not familar, N7 Day is a yearly tradition that stretches back a few years now. The day is a celebration of all things Mass Effect and so, could there be a better time to release the trailer that every fan of the epic space RPG series has been waiting for?

The new trailer is a cinematic overview of the new adventure, so don’t expect to see any full gameplay on show here, but we do learn a lot more about the story behind the game. The protagonist siblings featuring heavily and we get a good look at what is in store for them in the Andromeda galaxy…spoiler alert, it doesn’t look like it’s sunshine and rainbows.

New enemies make their debut, some human size, some city size and if the game has anywhere near the scale that we are shown in this trailer then fans are in for one hell of a treat. This trailer does also hint that not everything in the game will be unfamiliar territory with a familiar alien species making a brief appearance.

Mass Effect: Andromeda is currently in development and set for release in spring of next year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
