Sony’s highly anticipated game The Last Guardian is, once again, suffering another delay.
Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony’s worldwide studios, posted on the PlasyStation blog talking about The Last Guardians delay. In the post, Yoshida writes:
A delay is a difficult decision, particularly with this game, but we have encountered more bugs than anticipated while in the final stages of development. To ensure that The Last Guardian delivers on the experience that the game’s creators have envisioned, we need to take the extra time to work on those issues.
The Last Guardian was first shown back at E3 of 2009. Back then, the game was meant to be released on the PlayStation 3. After numerous delays and technical problems, The Last Guardian was reannounced for the PS4 back in 2015.
The Last Guardian will now launch on December 6th for North America, December 7th for Europe, and December 9th for UK and Ireland.
