Yoshi’s Wooly World Coming to 3DS With New Poochy Amiibo

It seems that Pikmin isn’t the only IP coming to portable systems, as Wii U adventure title Yoshi’s Wooly World will be hitting 3DS next year – now Poochier than ever before.

Revealed during this month’s Nintendo Direct, Poochy and Yoshi’s Wooly World includes all the previous levels of its Wii U predecessor, alongside all-new stages that allow you play as Poochy; Yoshi’s knitted buddy. Yoshi himself also carries a new feature: the ability to summon a gang of ‘Poochy Pups’ to uncover hidden treasures.

A new Poochy amiibo is also on the way, which is expected to launch alongside the game on February 3 2017. Just like his adorable woollen friend, he’ll be fashioned from yarn. You can check him out below (via. Polygon).
