Coming off Tuesday’s WWE Draft, it’s not just the rosters of Raw and Smackdown Live that got a shake-up, with the announcement that changes are also being made to the announce teams.
As part of WWE’s New Era of programming, Raw will now feature Michael Cole, Corey Graves and Byron Saxton on commentary. JBL will move to Smackdown Live, joining lead announcer Mauro Ranallo and David Otunga.
WWE Superstars and WWE Main Event are also experiences changes, with Tom Phillips and Graves handling Superstars, while Phillips and Otunga take over responsibilities on Superstars.
The commentary moves mean that Jerry Lawler will now not handle live commentary on TV or major events for the first time since joining the company in 1992. ‘The King’ moves to the studio, joining Booker T on the Pre-Show and Kickoff shows on the WWE Network.
