San Diego Comic-Con 2016: X-Men Series Legion First Trailer Revealed

During Marvel’s Cup O’ Joe panel at San Diego’s Comic-Con, the trailer for new X-Men spin-off series, Legion enjoyed its debut.

The series will follow David Haller, a man plagued with schizophrenic visions, multiple personalities and a host of mutant abilities. The trailer shows off a handful of Legion’s abilities, including telekinesis, time-slowing and the power to cause explosions. You can watch it above.

Noah Hawley – the creator of the dark-humoured Fargo series – is at the helm of the TV drama, whilst X-Men vets Laura Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg and Bryan Singer will executive-produce. Jeph Leob, John Cameron and Jim Chory are also signed on as producers.

Legion is due out in early 2017 on FX, with Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey) in the title role. Aubrey PlazaKatie AseltonBill Irwin and Amber Midthunder are also set to appear, along with Fargo’s Jean Smart and Rachel Keller.
