No Man’s Sky ‘EXPLORE’ Trailer Revealed

Sony have released the first in a new series of trailers for upcoming space game No Man’s Sky, giving fans a brief look at some of the elements native to the ambitious adventure-sandbox title.

Titled ‘EXPLORE’, the trailer overlooks just some of the game’s 18 quintillion planets, ranging from sunbaked deserts to punishing winterlands to oceanic wildernesses – each comprising their own unique flora and fauna.

The trailer also offers a glimpse at the ‘discover’ mechanic, allowing players to scan and identify the game’s various wildlife. You can watch the function in action in the trailer above.

The other trailers are named ‘FIGHT’, ‘TRADE’ and ‘SURVIVE’. Since there are now less than 4 weeks to go until the game’s release, we might expect the subsequent trailers to be rolling out weekly.

No Man’s Sky releases for the PS4 on August 9 in North America and August 10 in Europe, and August 12 Worldwide on the PC. The game recently went gold, meaning development has officially ceased and has been shipped for mass production.
