LEGO Announces New Marvel Superheroes Mighty Micros

Lego has recently revealed that a new range of Marvel Mighty Micros figures will be hitting stores soon.

As seen in some images posted via the LEGO Twitter page, the new Marvel Micros sets look to include Wolverine vs. Magneto, Iron Man vs. Thanos and Spider-Man vs. Scorpion. According to Yahoo, the sets will retail for $10, which is about £7.50. They’ll be hitting stores in January 2017.

The tweet also used the hashtag “#SDCC”, which more than likely means that fans will get to see the Micros in action at San Diego Comic Con later this month.

Carrying new facial detailing, each Marvel minifigure comes with their own vehicle and mini prop. As seen in the images below (via. Yahoo), Scorpion’s pincer-ing automobile looks particularly dastardly.

This isn’t the first time Marvel characters have been envisioned in Micro brick form. Some of LEGO’s previous Mighty Micros have pitted the Hulk against Ultron, as well as Spider-Man vs. Green Goblin. The Cap’ has also made an appearance, in a Mighty Micros set featuring Captain America vs. his nemesis, Red Skull.

Earlier this week, LEGO also unveiled their next wave of DC Mighty Micros, featuring Batman’s fight with Killer Moth, Wonder Woman against Doomsday and Superman vs. Bizarro.
