Leaked: LEGO Dimensions Sonic Figure Images Revealed

As was announced last month by developer Traveller’s Tales, Sonic the Hedgehog is just one of the newest franchises headed soon to toys-to-life adventure game LEGO Dimensions. Now, fans have been offered a first look at the character’s physical minifigure, in a newly released image.

The photos came courtesy of Game Producer Mark Warburton, showing the speedy SEGA mascot in a race against Superman profile view, whilst clutching what appears to be one of the precious golden rings integral to the Sonic games. You can see the character in action in the image below (via. FBTB).

Another photo also showed upcoming Gremlins minifigure Gizmo causing some Mogwai mischief in a bright red vehicle, which you can see over at Brick Fanatics.

The images originally appeared on Warburton’s Twitter account, but have since been removed.

Whilst the upcoming minifigues are shown in these images, it must be noted that these designs have not yet been officially announced by TT. As such, the designs of the upcoming LEGO Dimensions figures might still be subject to change.

Last month, TT revealed that they’ll be adding 16 new franchises to LEGO Dimensions’ voluminous character catalogue, including characters from Harry Potter, Mission Impossible, Adventure Time and The Goonies. The new level and team packs are set to release from September 30 onwards, with releases continuing into summer 2017.
