Game of Thrones Son of the Harpy Figure Revealed

Dark Horse Deluxe – an affiliate of Dark Horse Comics, have revealed the latest addition to their line of Game of Thrones figures: Son of the Harpy.

“The Sons of the Harpy is an underground insurgency group composed of former slavers who are fighting the rule of Daenerys Targaryen over Meereen.” reads a press release (via Action Figure Insider),They take their name from the harpy, the heraldic symbol of the slave masters in the Ghiscari cities of Slaver’s Bay. They conceal their identities by wearing golden masks with horned faces resembling harpies.”

Sons of the Harpy Figure

The Son of the Harpy figure marks the twenty fifth figure in Dark Horse’s ongoing series, and is scheduled to hit stores in October 2016. Like the seven other figures released over this year, the figure will retail for $24.99, which is about £19 for those in the UK. It’ll also come in neat window box packaging for display purposes.

Also included in the extensive Game of Thrones line are Brienne of Tarth, Oberyn Martell and Petyr Baelish, as well as Little Lord Bran Stark with his loyal companion, Hodor.

In addition to its popular comics, Dark Horse is known for its production of figures, statuettes and other collectibles based on popular films, video games, anime and television shows.
