Two New Characters Announced For Tekken 7

During this year’s EVO Tournament, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada revealed that two new characters that will be included in the upcoming Tekken 7.

First up is Bob, an American brawler adept in the art of Freestyle Karate. First introduced in Tekken 6, the character possesses “great strength, uncanny speed, and a wide range of attacks” and is described by Bandai Namco (via. VG247) as “one of the most well rounded fighters in the TEKKEN series.” You can see his diverse move set in action in the trailer below.

Whilst the iron-willed agent Raven first appeared in Tekken 5, new to the Tekken 7 roster is Master Raven. Like her ninja predecessor, the character is equipped with snippy Ninjutsu, and emphasises strength and precision to destroy her enemies. According to Bandai Namco, “Master Raven has no problem tearing her opponents apart in The King of Iron Fist Tournament.”
You can see Master Raven at work in the trailer below.

The game was shown last month during this year’s E3 Expo, flaunting the protracted action and epic sequences beloved by many Tekken fans. There’s still a while to go until the game is released, however, and according to Twitter user Mark Julio (via. NeoGAF), more characters could be announced soon.

Tekken 7 releases in early 2017 for the PC, Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. For more information, you can visit Tekken’s official website here, or follow Bandai Namco on Twitter.
