Attack on Titan Season 2 Airs Spring 2017

The highly anticipated second season of Attack on Titan will be released next spring.

The company behind Attack on Titan’s first series ,Wit Studio, will again be producing the show, with series director Tetsuro Araki also returning to pilot the season.

Neither a release date nor specific details have yet been revealed, although some killer images have been shared on the show’s official website (via. Kotaku), showing the famed Survey Corps taking on the first season’s hulking Colossal Titan.

The first series of Attack on Titan originally aired in 2013, beginning as an adaptation of Hajime Isayama’s dark fantasy manga series of the same name. A video game based on the anime released in Japan back in February, and is scheduled to hit North American and European audiences in August 2016.
