Anderson Silva will now face Daniel Cormier at tomorrow night’s UFC 200 event.
Cormier was left without an opponent following Jon Jones’ withdrawal from the show, but he will now face Silva. The bout will be contested in the light heavyweight division, though Cormier’s Light Heavyweight title will not be on the line.
Silva hasn’t competed in the Octagon since February when he lost to Michael Bisping.
In other changes to the card, the female bantamweight bout between Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes will now main event, with the Brock Lesnar-Mark Hunt fight shifting into the co-main event position.
