San Diego Comic-Con 2016: Ghost Rider Tease in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Season 4 Trailer

It looks like Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D will be getting its vengeance on – as it was recently revealed that Ghost Rider will be rip-roaring his way into Season Four of the popular Marvel series.

The news was revealed yesterday, during the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, along with some tantalising hints surrounding the show’s fourth season.

“Season 4 will unquestionably be the series’ biggest, most ambitious story yet, and it all begins with the introduction of one of our greatest legacy characters in Ghost Rider,” said Marvel Television Exec, Jeph Leob (via. Marvel). “When the Spirit of Vengeance rides into S.H.I.E.L.D., it’ll change everything.”

As for who will be playing the Spirit of Vengeance, it was announced that Gabriel Luna has snagged the role, and will appear in Season Four as the Dodge Charge-wielding Robbie Reyes.

Luna is best known for his leading role in El Rey Network’s action series Matador, along with his role as Paco Contreras in ABC crime show Wicked City. Luna’s other notable appearances include dark comedy Bernie, comedic horror Gravy and the thriller Transpecos. 

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D will return for a new season on Tuesday 20th September, at 10:00PM ET on ABC. For eager fans in the UK, that means staying up till 3AM Wednesday.
