New Star Trek Colouring Book Coming This October

Following the recent confirmation that a fourth Star Trek film is on the way, publisher Dark Horse has announced that the revered franchise will also be joining their adult colouring book line.

Star Trek: The Original Series Adult Coloring Book will be priced at $14.99 (about £11), and contains forty five pages of original illustrations featuring characters from the original TV series. Each is, of course, detailed in black and white, leaving fans of the sci-fi classic to colour each original still to their colourful whim. You can see the colouring book’s cover in the image below.

Another Star Trek colouring book will be releasing alongside that of the original series, featuring artwork based on 1980’s/90’s gem, The Next Generation. The cover is pictured below.

Both colouring books come in paperback form, and are available to pre-order at your local comic book store, or over on Penguin Random House. According to the press release, the books are expected to hit retailers on October 19.

Dark Horse Comics is well-known for its diverse production of comic books, graphic novels and products based on a variety of different properties, such as The Witcher, Tomb Raider, Halo and Game of Thrones. Their previous titles have included work from comic book greats such as Neil Gaiman, Gail Simone and Guillermo del Toro.
