No Man’s Sky ‘FIGHT’ Trailer Revealed

With just over two weeks to go till No Man’s Sky, Sony has released the second in a series of trailers offering fans one final glimpse at the expansive space game before lift-off on August 10.

Titled ‘FIGHT’, the second trailer in the four-part series focuses on some of the enemies players can expect to encounter on their journey throughout the cosmos. The 1-minute video sees the player in the middle of a variety of different ‘fights’, from interstellar dogfights and defense against towering robot-sentinels, to fending off hostile alien beings with a futuristic laser pistol.

As seen in the trailer above, the player’s laser rifle is equipped with a small ammo display, confirming that bullets will be exhaustible in the adventure-sandbox title. As much of No Man’s Sky involves scavenging, crafting and upgrading tools and vehicles, we might expect ammo to arise as a craftable item in the game.

The first trailer in Sony’s four-part series was EXPLORE, and offered a brief look at some of the 18 quintillion realms players can visit in the game. Whilst FIGHT was the second to be released, the remaining videos will surround the game’s trading and survival elements.

No Man’s Sky releases on August 9 in North America, August 10 in Europe for the PlayStation 4, with the PC version arriving a little later on August 12 Worldwide.
