It looks like longtime fans of the Planet Hulk comic series may soon be about to get their wish to see the story brought to the big screen.
Thor: Ragnarok will mark Hulk’s first outing since his flew off on his lonesome in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and according to a new report in JoBlo, his famed comic series will serve as inspiration for his part in the movie, with elements of Planet Hulk being mixed in with the overall Ragnarok story.
The report also states that Hulk will be seen in his classic armour from the comics, and will be involved in gladiatorial battles overseen by The Grandmaster, to be played by Jeff Goldblum. Joining Hulk in those battles will be Thor himself, who by all accounts will have a shaved head for a part of the movie.
Previous reports have claimed that Hulk and Thor will actually come up against each other in battle, before moving on for what will undoubtedly be the best buddy movie ever made.
Starring Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, Thor: Ragnarok also features Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum and Karl Urban. It is due for release on 3 November 2017.
