Something New Is Coming To LEGO Dimensions

With the last wave of announced sets released last month, many fans of LEGO Dimensions have been asking, what’s next for the multiverse? We might not be that far away from getting an answer.

Today, the official LEGO Dimensions twitter account has tweeted out a cryptic message hinting at a big reveal coming this Thursday.

The short clip asks the simple question, “Who am I?” with a minifigure silhouette and a couple of hints at who the mysterious character may be, “Only I can live forever”, “I’m a true Riddle”. While some fans have suggested it may be the Riddler given the DC Universe is already part of the game, the mention of immortality points to only one likely villain, Tom Riddle a.k.a Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter franchise.

Harry Potter and co have already been on a couple of bricked adventures, TT Games style, with the release of LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 and LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7. With that in mind, it isn’t a far stretch to believe that an established LEGO franchise, both in sets and games, would be making its way to the LEGO Dimensions multiverse.

We’ll just have to wait until Thursday’s reveal to find out for sure. For more on LEGO Dimensions, check out our dedicated page where you’ll find all of our reviews for the waves of expansion packs already released.
