WWE have announced that Roman Reigns has been suspended for violating the Wellness Policy.
Reigns – real name Joe Anoa’i – has been suspended for thirty days, effective immediately, according to a statement on the company website.
Anoa’i has taken to Twitter to issue a statement regarding the suspension.
I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it.

Reigns competed at Money in the Bank this past Sunday and on Raw last night. He will miss the upcoming Draft that is due to take place on July 19, though he would be available for Battleground on July 24, where he is scheduled to face Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
