Return to Arkham Delayed Indefinitely

Batman: Return to Arkham will not meet its scheduled release – and won’t see the light of day for quite some time.

The set – which was set to see Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City brought up to next-gen current-gen standard – was set to be released on July 26, but now an announcement on Warner Bros. Games’ forums has confirmed this will not be the case.

“After reviewing the progress of the project, the team at WB Games has decided to delay the release of Batman: Return to Arkham to give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience.”

“We do not have a release date yet and will be sure to communicate that once we are sure the game will be ready.”

This, of course, is not the first time Warner have suffered issues with Batman releases; Batman: Arkham Knight‘s PC version was plagued with bugs upon release, leading to the title being pulled from sale.
