Looney Tunes, Duck Dodgers and More Coming to Funko POP! Line

New to Funko’s POP! Animation line are 1950’s sci-fi hero Duck Dodgers and his trusty Space Cadet sidekick, embezzled with Funko’s trademark cuteness in their very own POP! Vinyl figures.

The intergalactic chums are joined by Looney Tunes’s own Marvin the Martian, sporting a familiar scowl and space pistol beneath his unmistakable broom-topped helmet. Eager at Marvin’s heel is his loyal alien accomplice, K-9, complete with the lovably dopey smile that set him apart in the cartoon.

The new POP! Animation vinyls will arrive in August 2016, according the Funko blog. Metallic editions for Duck Dodgers and the Space Cadet will also be available, but these special versions will be rare, so collectors will likely need to keep their eyes peeled. The vinyls are available for pre-order from Forbidden Planet.

Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas will be coming soon to Funko’s alternate Dorbz line. The axe-lodged Halloweener Behemoth looks decidedly less ominous in cheery Dorbz form, whilst he’s joined by Oogie Boogie’s kiddish cronies Lock, Shock and Barrel. As shared on the company’s blog, the new Dorbz will also arrive this August.

Charlie is a platforming romantic from England, that still speaks in a fashion that died with the Elizabethan era. Having been gaming since the days of Crash Bandicoot, he champions the Playstation, and is only a little bit embarassed that Super Mario Land keeps spelling his defeat.
