Marin Joins The Fray Next Week in Hyrule Warriors Legends

The newest batch of DLC for Hyrule Warriors Legends is set to arrive next a week for 3DS owners in Japan. This time, it’s focusing on Link’s Awakening.

In addition to new weapons and costumes, the DLC will also see the addition of a new playable character. Equipped with a large, swinging bell and delicate singing voice, players will be able to take to the Hylian fray as Marin, a young girl of Mabe Village in Link’s Awakening. According to Eurogamer, the “Ballad of the Windfish” will also reportedly play as she attacks.You can see Marin in action in the trailer above.

Also included in the pack will be a new Koholint adventure map and 16 new My Fairy costume pieces, including a pink tunic for Link.

Link’s female counterpart Linkle will also be able to harness lightning charges to deal a hefty kicking attack.

Hyrule Warriors Legends Linkle Kick

The DLC will release on June 30th in Japan, Europe and North America for the 3DS (via. Perfectly Nintendo), with a Wii U version arriving later on.

Hyrule Warriors originally launched in 2014 for the Wii U, whilst a 3Ds version released in March this year. Whilst Marin will be on her way next week, it has been confirmed that more DLC content will be coming soon, with characters from A Link Between Worlds, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks expected to arrive later this year (via. Nintendo).
