RUMOUR: LEGO Dimensions Series 2 Leaked

Following yesterday’s Gremlins escape, it seems more information has been leaked surrounding the new wave of LEGO Dimensions packs.

A series of images have appeared on Amazon Spain (via. Press Start), showing  variety of new additions to the game’s extensive catalogue of characters. These include Adventure Time’s Finn and Jake, The A-Team’s B.A. Baracus, Voldemort and Harry from the Harry Potter franchise and Ethan Hunt from Mission Impossible.

There also looks to be a larger ‘Story Pack’ headed our way, starring Abby Yates from the  Ghostbusters reboot, which includes a Yates minifigure and the Ghostmobile, as well as a larger set piece. According to the set’s packaging information, players will be able to “play the complete movie,” suggesting the pack will be centered around the plot of the upcoming film.

Warner Bros. have previously teased that more information will be divulged about future additions to LEGO Dimensions today June 9. Yesterday, a teaser was reportedly shared via the game’s official Twitter showing Gremlins mogwai Gizmo, alongside Oz’s Wicked Witch of the West, which was quickly taken down to be replaced with another. Press Start report that they “have it in good faith” that the following franchises will be making their way to the toys-to-life romp:

  • Sonic
  • Harry Potter
  • The Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them
  • Adventure Time
  • Ghostbusters Reboot
  • Mission Impossible
  • Teen Titans
  • The Goonies
  • Powerpuff Girls

A few more clips have since been shared via LEGO Dimensions’ Twitter page, which all promise to unveil the game’s “BIG arrival” today. We’ll report back as more information is revealed.

NOTE: It is important to remember that, as it has not been officially confirmed by Warner Bros that these franchises will indeed be included in LEGO Dimensions Series 2, that this news is always subject to change, and should be treated strictly as rumour for now.
