Final Frontier Set To Expand To Consoles

With so many triple-A games announced or released recently, the gaming community as a whole may sometimes forget about MMOs, but they’re still a huge hit and feature a dense player base. With the free-to-play model having considerable success with the likes of League Of Legends, Marvel Heroes and DC Universe Online, the final frontier is soon to be expanded as well.

Arc Games has announced that their hit game Star Trek Online will finally be making its approach to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year. Star Trek Online is one of the defining MMORPG games, having been around for almost 6 years now and the game has garnered much love and hate in equal measures in that time.

Alongside extensive engine updates, the game is also set to feature a completely reworked HUD that will easily compliment the consoles controller input. Despite no specific date announced, Star Trek Online is expected out sometime in the fall season.
