Enzo Amore Suffers Serious Injury at WWE Payback

Enzo Amore has been taken to hospital following a serious injury suffered earlier tonight at WWE Payback.

Competing with Big Cass in a tag-team against The Vaudevillains, Amore was attempting to slide under the bottom rope when he caught his neck on the middle rope and immediately fell to ringside. The referee checked on Amore and quickly raised his arms in the ‘X’ symbol – signifying that a legitimate injury had been suffered.

Amore’s partner Cass looked concerned as doctors came to ringside and fitted a neck brace. A short time later, commentator Michael Cole confirmed that Amore had been taken to hospital, and that his was “moving his extremities and talking”.

According to some in attendance in the arena, who have taken to social media, CPR was administered to Amore at ringside.

We will provide more information when it becomes available.
