WWE superstar Adam Rose has been arrested.
Rose – real name Raymond Leppan – is already serving a 60-day suspension from the company for a second violation of the Wellness Policy, and is now currently behind bars following his arrest for domestic battery and tampering with a witness.
PWInsider are reporting that Leppan and his wife were involved in an argument at their home, which led to him grabbing her face and then preventing her from reporting the incident after she was able to dial 911.
According to the criminal report affidavit for the incident, Leppan admitted he took the telephone from his wife, which is the reason for the charge of tampering with a witness, a felony in Florida.
WWE have commented on the arrest, confirming that in accordance with their policy, the suspension has been changed from 60 days to indefinite.
Raymond Leppan (a.k.a. WWE Superstar Adam Rose) was arrested at his home this morning by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office in Tampa, Fla.
According to a police report, Leppan was taken into custody and booked on alleged charges of tampering with a witness, a felony, and battery domestic violence, a misdemeanor. He is currently being held without bond.
WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Raymond Leppan has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest.
