Watch Real-Life Nathan Drake Take on The Uncharted

Nathan Drake Would be Proud.

With Uncharted 4 having released last week, many have already blustered past the nonchalant-escapades and impromptu tussles comprised in Drake’s final adventure. If you found yourself longingly clutching the screen once the sun setted on Nathan’s epic saga, pouring over the game’s artefacts, or even wondering just how series hero Nathan Drake could fling himself across impossibly sparse ravines with little more than a well-executed pun, then you might find Sony’s new update on the PlayStation Blog interesting.

In new series ‘Conquer the Uncharted’, Sony take it upon themselves to hunt down some of the “real-life Nathan Drakes of the world.” Intrepid explorers who, Sony says, “would put anything at stake – even their life – in order to achieve something amazing.”

The series will follow a selection of brave individuals, whose adventures have been inspired by Drake’s innumerable scrapes, to “dive into truly uncharted territory.”

The first episode sees solo climber Leo Houlding climb Jordan’s ‘Pillar of Wisdom’. Standing at 350 metres tall, the towering structure stands taller than the Eiffel Tower. The full video is available to watch below.

After multiple delays, Uncharted 4 released on May 10 for the PlayStation 4. Naughty Dog recently revealed that the game would be receiving free DLC spanning now until spring 2016.
