Sony Confirms E3 2016 Press Conference Details

According to recent invitations sent out by Sony (via. GameSpot), the date for the company’s E3 2016 press conference has been confirmed. The Sony press conference will take place on Monday June 13 at 6PM PT. That’s 1AM Tuesday for UK-dwellers.

The invite stated that the conference will be situated at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles.

Sony made no mention of what it is they’ll be showing, but considering the PlayStation VR is scheduled for an October release, the new system will probably take a lead role in the Sony showcase. It’s also likely that the rumoured PlayStation Neo – an enhanced version of the PS4 – will get some elucidating floor-time.

As suggested by some leaflets found in physical copies of the recently released Uncharted 4, Sony also seems certain that third person action-RPG Horizon: Zero Dawn will also be releasing in 2016. Considering that little information about the game has been shared recently, perhaps Sony will shed some light on the game’s development at E3.

Charlie is a platforming romantic from England, that still speaks in a fashion that died with the Elizabethan era. Having been gaming since the days of Crash Bandicoot, he champions the Playstation, and is only a little bit embarassed that Super Mario Land keeps spelling his defeat.
