See TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan’s Character Moves

With TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan releasing later this month, it’s not long to go until players can take to a cell-shaded Manhattan, and stomp out the Foot Clan as one of the pizza-loving, mask-wearing, sewer-dwelling turtles.

Ahead of its release date on May 24, a series of character vignettes have been released, detailing some of the moves specific to the adolescent Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michaelangelo. You can watch the guys in action above, in a video user IZUNIY joins the clips together (via. VG247).

Leo is captured dual-wielding his signature blades, slicing Foot members with what looks to be a ‘slow time’ mechanic. Meanwhile, Donatello’s most noticeable move appears to be his (presumably protective) ‘Deflector Shield’, as well as the ability to apparently summon a gigantic Donnie to bolster his combat.

Michaelangelo, on the other hand, seems to be able to grab ahold of enemies in a disparaging ‘rodeo’ move in addition to some sprawling nunchuck moves, whilst the hot-headed Raphael is fitted out with a rad-looking rolling ability, as well as a luminous spinning attack. The character also appears to be able to sneak up on enemies to take them by surprise.

After experiencing leaks, Mutants in Manhattan was officially announced in January, whilst an official trailer appeared in March. TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan is scheduled to launch on May 24 2016 for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

Charlie is a platforming romantic from England, that still speaks in a fashion that died with the Elizabethan era. Having been gaming since the days of Crash Bandicoot, he champions the Playstation, and is only a little bit embarassed that Super Mario Land keeps spelling his defeat.
