Star Wars Battlefront Offers Free PC Trial for May 4th

May the 4th be with you.

In celebration of May 4th, the unofficial ‘Star Wars Day’, Electronic Arts will be offering free Star Wars Battlefront trials for PC, along with a load of other trinkets, including its other Star Wars games (via. Polygon).

The free trial grants players four hours with Battlefront, starting at 6p.m UK time/11a.m PT. This won’t include any of the game’s premium content, but following a series of hefty updates since its November launch, there’s still a lot play with here. The trial expires at 9a.m UK time/2a.m PT on May 5.

Those who already own Battlefront will receive 4,444 in-game credits to spend on equipment, skins, and other items. whilst the “Bacta Bomb” will be available by way of a new “Hutt Contract” – which migh be up your street if you’re interested in gunging your enemies with a mass of exploding goo.

Star Wars: The Old Republic is also offering a free trial of its expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire, allowing players to begin with a character of level 60. This trial begins on May 30. Log-in rewards will also be offered by The Old Republic, as well as double XP over the coming week.

Finally, the mobile card game Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes will be doubling drop rates and offering crystal packs at a discount.
