New Splatoon Amiibos Revealed

New Splatoon Amiibo figures will be releasing this summer, Nintendo have announced. The figures – squid sisters Callie and Marie – will appear in stores on July 8, the company confirmed via Twitter.

You’ll be able to pick up Callie and Marie as a $25 bundle or for $13 each. According to IGN, also coming on July 8 will be new colour types for Inkling Girl, Inkling Boy and Inkling Squid. In Europe, the new colour variations will reportedly have “limited quantities.”

According to a recent report, Nintendo has shipped 24.7 million Amiibo figures worldwide, as well as 28.9 million Amiibo cards in the past year, with Splatoon itself becoming one of the Wii U’s best-selling games (via. GameSpot). So far, the game has sold 4 million copies worldwide.
