Uncharted 4 Dev Has “Some Ideas” For New Game

Having found its a new home on the PS4, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is certainly the most expansive in the series, but a developer at Naughty Dog has claimed that the studio’s next title could be even more impressive (via. GameSpot).

In an interview with DualshockersUncharted 4 designer Ricky Cambier said in reference to the game, “There are definitely areas that I can see that we will be able to do better things already, after this,”

He continued, “You know, we have some really smart programmers at Naughty Dog, and I’m always pretty surprised of what they can do.”

Cambier also dropped some tantalising hints; that Naughty dog has “some ideas” for their next creation, and that it will “get more out of” the PS4.

“I have a hard time seeing that it will take the same evolutionary jump as you know… the difference between the first Uncharted versus The Last of Us is enormous. But there is no doubt that the next thing we do, we’re gonna get even more out of that PlayStation.”

Uncharted 4 will launch on May 10, and will be the last game in the Uncharted series Naughty Dog intends to develop. A 16-minute preview of Uncharted 4’s gameplay was also released recently, featuring a more expansive and open style of play alongside some dramatic leaps in visual quality.
