Keaton in Talks For Spider-Man Villain?

Could another big name from the 80’s and 90’s be joining the Marvel universe?

According to EW and, there are suggestions that renowned actor Michael Keaton, best known for playing Batman, Beetlejuice, and more recently Birdman, has been in talks with executives from Marvel and Sony about the possibility of playing a villain in the new Spider-Man reboot.

Given the age of Keaton, one could guess he might be playing a new version of Norman Osborn, the original Green Goblin, and a character firmly implanted in the web-slinger’s movie outings over the last decade and a half.

No official word has confirmed or denied the rumour as of yet.

While Spider-Man: Homecoming is some time away, the new version of our friendly neighbourhood superhero will be getting his debut very soon in the upcoming Marvel film Capitan America: Civil War due out April 29 in the UK and May 6 in the US.
