The Jump Street MIB Crossover Has A Title

Yes, the MIB and 21/22 Jump Street crossover IS really happening and the film has been tentatively titled MIB 23.

Sony Pictures confirmed the next Jump Street film will be a crossover with it’s MIB franchise while presenting at Cinemacon, happening right now in Las Vegas.

Stars Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill will reprise their role as undercover cops Schimdt and Jenko. However, it’s suspected that MIB stars Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith are not involved in the film. Muppets: Most Wanted director James Bobin will replace Phil Lord and Christopher Miller as director. Lord and Miller are currently tied up with the Han Solo Star Wars’ anthology film. ‘22 Jump Street’ and ‘Grudge Match’ screenwriter Rodney Rothman has written the script.

It’ll be interesting to see whether the film leans towards the more kid-friendly style of the MIB films or the adult-oriented Jump Street. It’s hard to picture a good balance of both.

The film currently has no release date.
