New Warcraft Movie Clip Released

Ahead of Warcraft’s release this June, Legendary has released what looks to be the first in a series of feature clips depicting specific characters from the film (via. GameSpot).

The first of these clips introduces Durotan, leader of the Orcs and main character of the film. The computer-generated warrior is played by Toby Kebbell, who’s had experience with CG acting before in his role as Koba in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. He’s described as ‘The Rebel’ by the clip, which can be found above.

If Legendary are planning on releasing more of these clips, you might expect to see a similar snippet centered around the human leader Lothar, who’s played by Vikings star Travis Fimmel.

Warcraft will hit cinemas on June 10, starring Paula Patton, Clancy Brown, Rob Kazinsky, Dominic Cooper and Ben Foster. The film is directed by Duncan Jones, the director behind Moon and David Bowie’s son.

Charlie is a platforming romantic from England, that still speaks in a fashion that died with the Elizabethan era. Having been gaming since the days of Crash Bandicoot, he champions the Playstation, and is only a little bit embarassed that Super Mario Land keeps spelling his defeat.
