Official Trailer Reveals TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan Release Date

Bayonetta developer Platinum Game’s TMNT game, Mutants in Manhattan will surface on May 24. The release date was announced yesterday in the form of an official trailer, released by IGN on YouTube.

Having been leaked prior to its official reveal, the game will launch on Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC, with Destiny company Activision at the helm of the title’s production.

Mutants in Manhattan looks to revolve around the origin of The Foot Clan, and their invasion of New York City. The trailer also spies a host of familiar – yet fiendish – faces, such as Bebop and Rocksteady. The robotic shark, Armaggon was given some additional limelight, as well as the titanium-swathed villain himself: Shredder.

The next film in the TMNT series is set to hit cinemas on June 3, just two weeks after Mutants in Manhattan makes its landing. A recently released clip from Out of the Shadows is available to watch here.

Platinum Games is best known for its work on acclaimed hack n’ slash, Bayonetta 2 and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The developer is now working on Star Fox Zero, Nier: Automata and Xbox One title Scalebound.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan will launch on May 24, for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
