Report: Sting to Retire

Sting has decided to retire from in-ring competition, claims a new report on TMZ.

The website claims that Steve Borden has taken the decision to hang up the boots following the neck injury suffered in his match with Seth Rollins at Night of Champions last September.

Sting was diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis, the same condition that forced Edge to retire in 2011, and several doctors have advised Sting that the risk of returning to the ring is too high.

It is believed that Sting will officially announce the decision during his WWE Hall of Fame speech on April 2.
