Nintendo Direct: Star Fox Zero Launch Date Confirmed

Nintendo has confirmed that Star Fox Zero will launch on April 21 in North America and a day later in Europe. Project Guard, which was revealed as a minigame at E3 in 2014, was also announced to be a standalone project.

Revealed during Nintendo Direct yesterday, the two games will be available as a $60 bundle, with the main game costing $50, and Project Guard $15.

The introduction of Project Guard also sees that of Grippy Toad, the uncle of Slippy. The new gameplay footage suggests that the game will employ the same tower-defense styles that were showcased two years ago. However, no news of the other 2014 demo, Project Giant Robot, came to light during yesterday’s stream.
