Star Wars Battlefront is Coming to Playstation VR

Electronic Arts has confirmed that its vibrant Star Wars shooter Star Wars Battlefront will be heading to Playstation VR. Sony has partnered with DICE, EA and Lucasfilm to create an exclusive and unique Star Wars VR experience. According to IGN, DICE is one of 230 developers now working on Playstation VR projects.

According to Sony executive Andrew House, “This will be a Star Wars Battlefront gaming experience like nothing else” in which players can transport themselves to a galaxy far, far away.”

Lucasfilm is also currently working with its own studio ILMxLAB to create a separate Star Wars VR experience named Trials on Tattooine. This is said to feature an apprentice of Luke Skywalker, and will be set in events after Return of the Jedi. A trailer for the VR experience (seen above).

Star Wars Battlefront was released in December last year and earned a 7.5 rating in our review, which you can read here.
