Save Outer Space in Rimlight’s ZHEROS

“Crazy Moves…and Giant Robots.”

Sometimes it takes one intrepid hero to stomp out evil. But occasionally it takes two, plus some…mechanical backup, and when there’s an evil scientist threatening to modify the world and enslave the cosmos, it’s probably time to roll out the big guns.

ZHEROS is a 3D beat ’em up by Rimlight Studios that flaunts the trademark charms of the action genre. Amidst varied chain moves and generous helpings of villain-smashery, you’re plunged into the intergalactic boots of the intrepid ZHEROS team to foil the dastardly Dr. Vendetta’s plan to mutate the universe.

Play as Captain Dorian, the smart and snappy master-planner driving the squad. Or embrace the route to brute force by opting to play as Mike; the incomprehensibly strong – if a little dim – brawn behind the operation. Players can either take the solitary route unto monster-smushing, or buddy up with a friend to take on hordes of cybernetic minions in local co-op.

From robotic weaponry to biomechanical beasts to laser-powered mechs, there’s plenty in your armory to facillitate ZHEROS’ fast-paced action. The game combines chain moves with a bright visual style to pack an intercosmic punch in an uncluttered suit.

ZHEROS is out now for the Xbox One and PC, with a scheduled release for PS4. For more information, visit Rimlight’s website. You can also check out the game via Facebook or Twitter.

Charlie is a platforming romantic from England, that still speaks in a fashion that died with the Elizabethan era. Having been gaming since the days of Crash Bandicoot, he champions the Playstation, and is only a little bit embarassed that Super Mario Land keeps spelling his defeat.
