New Story Trailer for Uncharted 4 Released

The release of an all-new story trailer for Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is likely to get Drake fans writhing with anticipation. As more and more clues are dropped concerning the intrepid Nathan Drake’s final adventure, director Neil Druckmann names the video on the PlayStation Blog as the “best trailer in Naughty Dog’s history.” The trailer contains mild story spoilers, and is watchable above.

Amongst more exchanges between Nate and his older brother, Sam, the trailer also happens upon some brief flashback sequences. After Drake’s Deception’s retreat back into Nate’s young life, might we expect something similar for his upcoming final adventure?

After originally planned for a 2015 release, A Thief’s End was delayed till March 2016, before receiving a pushback to April. Accompanying the game at launch will be a special edition blue Playstation 4 console, with matching DualShock controller.

“There’s plenty more to show from now until launch.” said Druckmann in a blog post“We’ll be dropping new info, screenshots, and behind-the-scenes videos on a regular basis”

A Thief’s End is scheduled for release on April 26, and has been confirmed by Naughty Dog (via. GameSpot) to be the final game in the series, although the games could hypothetically continue with a different studio, starring different characters.

Charlie is a platforming romantic from England, that still speaks in a fashion that died with the Elizabethan era. Having been gaming since the days of Crash Bandicoot, he champions the Playstation, and is only a little bit embarassed that Super Mario Land keeps spelling his defeat.
