Trailer for Kanye West’s Video Game Revealed

During a livestream at Madison Square Garden, Kanye West launched his new album, The Life of Pablo. But along with that, and a new line of apparel, it transpired that the rapper has also been working on Only One, his very own video game. And there’s a trailer

As reported by Kotaku, it features his mother soaring gracefully to heaven, bestriding a winged horse against an ethereal soundtrack; quite the departure from the rapper’s profanity-laced proclivities. Only One is intended to commemorate Kanye’s late mother, Donda West. Despite thanking the audience, West made it clear that he hadn’t been happy with the way the game had been treated till now (via. GameSpot):

“That’s not easy to do, man. “Y’all just be acting like this sh*t is regular, man….I’ll be like, ‘I want to make a game,’ and they’ll be like, ‘F**k you.”

Following these explanations, West played the trailer for the audience again.

Although not much is known about Only Ones release, it is said to be coming soon, to platforms unknown.

Charlie is a platforming romantic from England, that still speaks in a fashion that died with the Elizabethan era. Having been gaming since the days of Crash Bandicoot, he champions the Playstation, and is only a little bit embarassed that Super Mario Land keeps spelling his defeat.
