Sneak Peek At Future Arrow In DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow

A couple of weeks ago it was announced that Stephen Amell would be guest starring in the sixth episode of DC’s Legend Of Tomorrow as a future version of Oliver Queen and now we have our first look at the character in 2046.

In the episode, the Legends are thrown into the future following an attack on their ship. On arrival, they quickly learn that this is a future in which they have failed in their mission and the world has become a war zone as a result.

The Arrow star took to twitter to release two teaser images from the episode, before posting a third on Facebook.

While Green Arrow appears in the season premiere, this new guest appearance has an element of excitement far beyond that for fans of the character.

This future version will finally see Amell sporting a beard, still not quite the blonde goatee the character is renowned for in the comic books, but close enough. Judging by the third image which Amell posted on Facebook along with the status, “Old feuds die hard”, it looks like Deathstroke might even be making an appearance.

The original report on this appearance also claimed that Oliver would be missing an arm, much like his character in The Dark Knight Returns comic, though the images released don’t seem to indicate that this is the case.

Legends Of Tomorrow is due to begin airing in the UK next month, with episode six airing February 25 in the US.
